Each month dolls from Diane’s magnificent collection will be showcased through virtual online tours. Hop on board and enjoy a “sneak preview” of the dolls featured! All featured dolls and many others will be displayed for your viewing pleasure in the shop. We offer dolls in the following genres Multi-Ethnic Dolls: This is a large category of dolls representing a variety of multicultural groups. While some of the dolls were graciously bestowed as gifts, many of them were collected during our twenty-six years of extensive traveling while living overseas from 1977-2005 in the countries of Korea, Germany, Belgium, Turkey, and Japan. Famous Personalities: Politicians, entertainers, and other salient characters that have impacted history or society in greater or lesser degrees primarily make up this category. Contemporary personalities, as well as those no longer living, will be featured in this category. Vintage Dolls: The dolls in this category are classics. They have withstood the test of time and may be characterized by their excellence or enduring appeal. These popular brand name dolls are well known to the avid doll collector and to others. Miscellaneous/Rare Dolls: The dolls in this category are uncommon and represent a potpourri of dolls that are interesting and unique. Diane’s Assorted Favorites: Dolls in this category have been selected, because they have special appeal to Diane, owner of Dolls of Diane. Although some of the dolls in this category are beautiful limited edition collector dolls, neither beauty nor value was used as a criterion for establishing this category. |
