Japanese Drummer in Long-sleeved Kimono
The long-sleeved kimono, Japanese dress, is worn by single women, young ladies, or girls while the short-sleeved kimono is worn by married women or old ladies. I love the beauty and grace of this doll and have named her “Yasuko” in memory of a lovely Japanese lady that I met and befriended while assigned to Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan. |
