Japanese Kokeshi Doll "Partners in Peace"
This kokeshi doll is a limited 1999 first edition collectible purchased at Takusan Treasures (Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan). It is symbolic of the wonderful, gracious people that my husband and I were privileged to know during our seven year assignment in Japan as well as the relationship that America enjoys with Japan, truly our partner in peace today. |
