Japanese Hand-carved Kokeshi Doll
I find this doll to be a striking and unique representation of the Japanese Kokeshi (wooden) dolls. In addition, the doll depicts Basyo Matsuo, a famous Japanese songwriter. This doll was purchased at the Yokosuka Schools Bazaar held annually in the Fleet Recreation Center at Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan. |
