Filipino Doll from Manila, Philippines
I had the opportunity to purchase this doll when my husband and I traveled to Manila where we attended and participated in one of the most beautiful weddings that we have ever witnessed. Furthermore, from 1998-2005, I taught English/language arts at Yokosuka Naval Base (Yokosuka, Japan) and met many Filipinos. Today, I am privileged to count them among my most cherished friends. This doll, Emily, has been named after the daughter of one of my Filipino friends. |
